Hello! My name is Briana Dayle (pronounced like “Dale”) and I’m from the mountains of southwest Virginia. After living in Virginia for 20 years, I moved to the coast of North Carolina for 9 years but I’m happy to say that I’m back in the mountains! I still love the beach and miss it terribly, however I’m trying to accept and embrace the places that life puts me in (or back in). I figure that if I have these beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains right in my back yard, I might as well explore them!

That’s why, here at brianadayle.com, you’ll find a lot of my content will come from my experiences in Virginia, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. Hopefully soon though, I can start exploring more of the U.S. and world, as I purchased a camper van in 2020! I’ve been fixing it up and can’t wait to hit the road. And I hope you’ll join me on that journey as well!

I enjoy going to new places, but I think sometimes the best place to start exploring is right outside your own front door. Don’t get me wrong, if I have the chance to travel, I try my best to make it happen but I feel as if many people live somewhere and never really get out and see what’s actually right around them. So that’s why, right now, my travel is mostly local to me.

Aside from my growing passion for travel, I enjoy exploring my creativity through outlets like creative memory keeping, journaling, and decorative planning. DIY projects and home decor are also ways that I like to be creative, so some of that may occasionally pop up on the blog as well. And now that I have the camper van, I’ve really enjoyed buying and creating things to decorate in the inside!

As an introvert, getting out of my comfort zone is something that can be a difficult task for me. However, I’ve been so inspired by others who go out and see so much of the world, that I’m now striving to follow my own dreams of travel, creativity, and just living my own best life.

My hope is that by sharing my adventures, creativity, and life, I can encourage and inspire you to seek new adventures, find your creative side, and just live the life you truly want as well.
