(Graphics, Clipart, Fonts, and More!)

The following blog post may contain affiliate links (meaning I will get a small commission if you buy through my link). You won’t pay any more if you use this link and this will help me to keep the rest of my content free! Read the full Disclosure here.

If you’ve read the past blog post about my obsession with planners, then you know that I decorate my planner. I also love paper crafting, journaling, and simply being creative. This often involves buying stickers and other paper decorating items. The expense of constantly buying stickers and decorations for your planner or craft project can add up quickly though, as I soon found out.

There had to be a cheaper way to create what I wanted. I realized that I could just figure out how to make my own stickers and paper craft items for my planner and creative hobbies! Of course! “I’m crafty and smart. I can figure it out”, I thought. But, I found myself running into another problem. I’m not a great artist so I couldn’t really draw or paint all of my own graphics, fonts, etc.

I needed to find digital content to actually create things for my planner and other creative projects. So, since we have this wonderful thing called, “the internet” now, I figured I could just go online and begin my research for digital content. So I did.

Let me tell you, the amount of resources for FREE digital content I was finding online was overwhelming! It was also so exciting that I could now download digital content and create my own things for my creative hobbies. I began downloading free fonts, graphics, wall art, and more like a crazy woman!

Now, let me just insert a bit of information here: not all clipart, graphics, digital art, etc. is free simply because it is online! You shouldn’t just assume that you can right click and copy an image and now it’s yours. Copyright issues are a whole other topic but just make sure that you aren’t stealing someone else’s work when you are looking for clipart and graphics online. Thankfully, you have me to show you the 4 best places online that I have found to download actual FREE content.

Creative Market

I signed up with Creative Market well over a year because I loved all of the freebies that they offered! It is still one of my go-to sites for free content today. There, you can find photos, graphics, templates, themes, fonts, and more to purchase. Their paid items are very affordable but if you don’t want to spend any money, they have really awesome free downloads as well!

Once you sign up on their site (which is free to do), then you will receive emails whenever new, free and paid content is available to download! I love getting these reminders in my inbox and they almost always offer a freebie that I just have to download each week. You have to act fast though because most often, their freebies are only available for a short amount of time.

I mainly download clip art, graphics, and some fonts but there are so many other things that Creative Market offers. Media kits, digital wallpapers, presets, and logo creators are just some of the things that I have seen on there but they offer even more than that!

Creative Market’s downloads also have a nice perk to go with them. While I’m sure most will use the content for personal use, in most cases, Creative Market also allows commercial use for their items. This means that you can use the item(s) that you download to actually create something to sell for profit. See their license information for more details.

Design Bundles/Font Bundles

These two sister sites offer a ton of free graphics and fonts as well as paid ones. I have been signed up with Design Bundles/Font Bundles for a while now and have downloaded countless freebies.

Design Bundles offers graphics, tools and elements, templates, photos, and more. Their free designs usually consist of one graphic or small bundles of graphics and most remain in the Current Free Downloads section of the site. They also offer bundles (hence the name) and you can score some really awesome deals with those! They do however, have a time limit on them so if you see one that you like, don’t wait to download it.

Like with Creative Market, Design Bundles’ free content comes with a Premium License for Commercial Use including their Free Design of the Week. Be sure to read their policy on that if you have questions on how you can use the digital content you’ve downloaded from them.

Font Bundles is a lot like their sister site, Design Bundles, in that they offer bundles that you can purchase (and occasionally download for free) and they have weekly freebies. On this site though, the bundles contain only fonts so I don’t use Font Bundles as much as some of the other sites. It’s simply because I don’t use a variety of fonts that often.

If you are someone who does or just wants to play with different fonts on projects and such, then this is definitely the site for you. Again, be sure to read over their policies to ensure that you are using their downloads legally.

The Hungry JPeg

This is another site that offers a variety of content for those looking for fonts, graphics, photos, templates, and more. Just like the sites already mentioned, The Hungry JPeg offers digital items to purchase and some that are free to download.

They have a section on their site just for freebies and they offer a lot there! Most come in the form of a graphic or digital paper of some sort. Sometimes though, The Hungry JPeg will offer free content in the form of fonts, templates, mock ups, or some other digital download. I highly suggest giving their free section a look. I’m sure you’ll find something that you just have to download!

If you don’t mind purchasing digitals, then The Hungry JPeg offers $1 Deals on their website as well as very affordable Bundles

Again, like the other sites mentioned, The Hungry JPeg offers a Commercial License with most of it’s digital downloads whether they are paid or free. A lot of times, a download will be used for personal use but if you feel like you may use the graphics, fonts, etc. to create something for profit, I suggest looking over their Licensing Terms and Conditions as well.

I want to also mention that Creative Market, Design Bundles, Font Bundles, and The Hungry JPeg all have a pretty cool feature for their members. Each site will keep all of your purchase history (free or paid) on your account. That means that if, for some reason, you lose anything that you have downloaded from them, you can go into your account on their site and download it again at no additional cost. How awesome is that?!

Okay, now on to the last place to find free digital content.

Pinterest

Ah, Pinterest. It’s such an amazing site with so many resources and if you are looking for free graphics, fonts, wall art, etc. then I definitely recommend heading over there. I have many boards just for planner resources, clipart, backgrounds and wallpapers, and more. So many blogs and websites offer free content in the form of digital downloads and often times, they will pin them on Pinterest to share with others. Pinterest may even be the place that you should look first but again, don’t assume that just because it’s on the internet (Pinterest), that it is free.

If you do decide to search on Pinterest for free digitals, just be sure to go to the actual website the freebie comes from and go through the necessary steps to properly and legally download what someone else is offering you.

Now, I know that in the beginning, I said that I wanted to share 4 places online that you can get actual free, digital content, but I wanted to give you one more place to look that you may not have thought of before.

Bonus Place: Facebook Groups

Do you have a favorite Etsy shop or person you follow on Instagram or some other social media platform that sells digital content? Well, if you do, chances are, they have a Facebook Group for their shop.

If you join the Facebook groups, often times they will have special coupons just for group members and sometimes even FREE digital content! I love these because you most likely won’t find them anywhere else and you get to have digital art from an already beloved shop! So start joining Facebook groups for even more free digital content!

I also provide FREE digital content to my readers and exclusive content to my email subscribers! Click here if you’d like to become an email subscriber and start receiving even more FREE digital content!

You see, finding FREE digital content that you can download legally isn’t really that hard to do. You may have to sign up with a website or join a Facebook group to receive it but I feel like that is such a small action to take to receive so many free graphics, fonts, templates, photos, and more that someone else has taken the time to create.

So now that you know where where to go to find FREE digital content, are you going to start exploring your creativity with your planner, journal, art, paper crafting, etc. even more? If so, leave me a comment and let me know what you plan to create with the digital content you download!

Maybe you know of some more resources that are available that offer free digital content. Leave a comment below too and let me know what they are so we can share them with others!

As always, thank you for taking the time to read my content and I hope this post has helped you tap into your creative side in some way. Please feel free to email me with any questions or comments you may have.
